Meet our 2021 Scholarship winner - Hayley McCartney!
(Note: no applications were received for our 2022 or 2023 scholarship)

I am currently enrolled in Social Science and Humanities at Ontario Tech for their program Forensic psychology. My classes range from Criminology and Legal Studies to Biology and Psychology where I will learn how the aspects of law and mentality integrate. It is a four year program that grants a bachelor's degree upon graduation and I cannot wait to continue my journey in my education.
The NavED workshop was very useful to me as I used the information I learned to complete multiple scholarships, feeling positive about my work and spending my time effectively while doing so. Receiving feedback on my mock papers helped me feel more confident in my writing, something I can hopefully carry with me through university as well.
